Future Day 2026 at Kaiser & Kühne

Experience a day as a „playground builder“

On Thursday, 23 April 2026, we welcomed 18 children to Kaiser & Kühne in Eystrup for Future Day. Under the motto „Experience playground builders up close“, they were given exciting insights into our company - from the initial idea to the finished play equipment.

Arriving, getting to know each other and first impressions

Personalised and individual - each participant had their own name cube.

As soon as we arrived, it was clear that this day was going to be special. Personalised name cubes were available for all participants - a small detail with a big impact that made the day personal right from the start.

Joint start with breakfast and presentation

Starting the day together - breakfast provided the first insights into the world of Kaiser & Kühne.

The day began with a presentation of our company over breakfast. In a relaxed atmosphere, the children learnt how playgrounds are created and which different professions are involved.

A look behind the scenes

On the road on the company premises - this is where planning becomes reality.

During the subsequent tour of the offices and company premises, the participants were able to experience how varied the work of a playground builder is. From planning in the office to realisation in production, the entire process became tangible.

Planning, organisation and creativity - a large part of our play worlds is also created in the office.

Experience production up close

Playground equipment is made here - an exciting insight into production.

A special highlight was the visit to the production facility. Here, the children were able to see how real play equipment is made from materials - and how much technology, craftsmanship and precision is involved.

Technology and craftsmanship working together - turning an idea into a finished product.

Become active yourself

Participation was expressly encouraged - even small insights into craft activities were included.

In addition to the insights, there were also practical stations:

  • A sunflower growing station with a laser-engraved name
  • The punching of customised name badges

The children were able to get creative themselves and take home a personalised souvenir.

Playing is part of it, of course

Test passed - our play equipment was of course also extensively tested.

Finally, the company premises were experienced from a completely different perspective: through play. Everyone was able to let off steam on the company's own playground and test the equipment for themselves - after all, that's exactly what it's built for.

An all-round successful Future Day with lots of interested questions, new impressions and beaming faces. It's always great to see how quickly enthusiasm for movement, design and technology develops.

We are delighted to be able to give young people an insight into our work - and perhaps inspire one or two of them for the world of playground design.

Thank you to all participants - we look forward to the next Future Day in 2027!
