Alaab Outdoor Play Units & Furniture

From 18th – 21st February we will be represented at the GRÜNBAU BERLIN, which takes place as part of the bautec trade fair at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. Especially recommended: Colleague Wolfram Ziegenhorn will give a lecture on the challenges in playground construction 2020.

At this year’s meeting of sales representatives, here in Eystrup, many creative and committed people came together again to discuss what has been achieved in 2019 and what is to come in 2020. As member of the Bundesverband Gebäudegrün e.V. since September 2019, we had the chance to see all the green thumbs at “botanika Das Grüne Science Center” in Bremen as a sponsor. From 11th to 12th September 2019, the gates to the second SCHULBAU Salon & Messe in Berlin opened in the Loewe Hall. The occasion was the continuing enormous investment volume of over 5.5 billion euros in the capital, which has been flowing into all areas of school construction since 2018. At least 60 schools will be built in Berlin over the next ten years.

Nearly 120 people attended the event, which was organised by the Bundesverband Gebäudegrün e. V. – BuGG, the German Green Building Association. Following the theoretical part, the participants were taken to the roof garden of the Mall of Berlin and were able to move freely while enjoying a snack and, if necessary, ask the experts questions about existing green roofs.

HighPlay child’s play!

With our French trading partner Pro Urba, this project was realised in the French Alpine town of Annecy, very close to the Swiss border. In order to create a contemporary style, Robinia wood and stainless steel were used in the selection of materials. The playroom offers space for approx. 60 children and enjoys a constant stream of visitors.
