It is the German industry association for manufacturers of playground equipment, fall protection surfaces, and park and leisure facility equipment, as well as for industry-specific installation and maintenance companies.

BuGG – Federal Association for Green Buildings

The Federal Association for Green Buildings (BuGG) is a merger of two associations established over many decades: the German Rooftop Gardeners Association (DDV) and the Building Greening Association (FBB). By merging these two renowned associations into one large association, duplication of work and investments are avoided, forces are bundled, success factors and competencies are brought together, and thus effectiveness is increased. BuGG is a professional association and interest group for companies, cities, universities, organizations, and all those interested in building greening (roof, facade, and indoor greening).

BuGG Objectives:

  • Expansion of the building greening market (increase in direct and indirect funding, building greening as a matter of course).
  • BuGG as the primary contact for building greening.
  • Public relations and image work.
  • Initial information and arguments for architects and building owners.
  • Professional expertise. Technical journals. Guideline commentary.
  • Market expertise. Figures, data, facts on the building greening market.
  • Exchange of experience and cooperation with other associations (“cross-association alliance for building greening”), including German-speaking neighboring associations from Austria and Switzerland.
  • Network, exchange of experience, contact platform.
  • Practical work aids for members.
