Posts
Laminated Robinia timber Ø 120 mm with cylindrical milling. End-grain surfaces are covered by non-detachable protective stainless steel caps.
Stainless steel tubular pedestal for concrete-cast foundation and for fixed mounting to round Robinia posts, Ø 120 mm, below playing surface.
Posts flush with platform level are made from stainless steel, covered by welded round plates.

Platform
Platform from boards of 30 mm thickness and all-round square-shaped joists 45 x 100 mm. Dried timber from Robinia, planed, milled and free from decay. Force-fitting fastening through specific stainless steel brackets with end-to-end bolt assembly.

Attachment parts
Attachment slide, width 0,60 m, one-piece welded assembly, stainless steel sheet thickness: 2,5 mm, with roll-off prevention above the entrance section

For your planning, due to a possible sliding surface heating, please see to a north-east orientation of the slides or provide half-shade of trees.

Metal components: stainless steel
Robinia timber is furnished with water-repellent, breathable protective coating. Besides protection from moisture, that treatment reduces crack formation. Thanks to a specific fastening adaptor, forces arising from the modular attachment parts are directly derived into the posts. Tamper-proof connections thanks to screws with security socket.

Foundations (on site)
4 pcs. 0,40 x 0,40 x 0,40 m
1 pc. 0,40 x 0,75 x 0,40 m
concrete amount: 0,38 m³

Approximate assembly values
2 mechanics 2 hours each
(without creating foundations)

Free height of fall
Platform: 0,20 m
Slide: Depending on the site profile, the free fall height and the size of the impact area result from the vertical distance between the bottom of the chute and ground level. The surfacing material for the impact area within the sliding section must meet the requirements given in table 4 (see EN 1176-1). The shock-absorbing characteristics of any other material to be chosen must be certified in accordance with EN 1177. The surface around the run-out section shall have a critical fall height of at least 1000 mm and shall be provided to at least 2000 mm beyond the run-out section (acc. to EN 1176-3).
