Czech Republic
The Czech Republic is a Central European country with charming castles and chateaux, local beer varieties and a long history. The capital, Prague, is home to the magnificent 9th century Prague Castle, a well-preserved medieval Old Town and the statue-lined Charles Bridge. The small town Český Krumlov in South Bohemia is famous for its many Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings, which today house many restaurants and shops.
